The Sunday Reset Routine: How to Start Your Week Bubbly

Reset

Sundays are my favorite day of the week. Sundays are the perfect day to reset, recharge, and prepare for a productive and stress free week ahead. Instead of letting Sunday anxiety creep in, creating a Sunday reset routine can help you feel more in control and ready to take on whatever comes your way.

Reflect on the Past Week

Before I jump into the new week, I like to take a few moment to look back and reflect. I ask myself:

  • What went well?

  • What could have been better?

  • What goals did I achieve, and what do I need to focus on next?

This gives me an idea of what I need to complete next week as well as set a new mindset.

Plan & Prioritize

A successful week starts with a solid plan in my opinion. Use Sunday to:

  • Review your calendar for upcoming meetings, appointments, or deadlines for school or work.

  • Set 2-3 key priorities for the week.

  • Make a to-do list for Monday to start the week with confidence.

Clean & Declutter Your Space

A tidy environment can improve focus and reduce stress. Spend 60 minutes on a quick home refresh:

  • Clean up any clutter from the past week.

  • Wash your bedding for a fresh start.

  • Do a load of laundry

  • Wipe down every surface

  • Organize your office so its ready for work

Reset Your Mind & Body

Sunday is the perfect day for self-care. Prioritize activities that help you feel rested and energized:

  • Take a long bath and do a skincare routine.

  • Watch your favorite comfort movie.

  • Read a book or listen to a podcast that inspires you.

  • Go to bed early to start the week well-rested.

Your Sunday reset routine doesn’t have to be complicated. The goal is to create a habit that helps you feel organized, refreshed, and motivated for the week ahead. Whether it’s 30 minutes or a few hours, dedicating time to reset will make your Mondays feel more manageable.
